This research project brings international scholars to the Classics Department Research Seminar throughough the year, and culminates in a conference to be held in March 2018.

• Tosca Lynch (Oxford) (on musical notions in the Timaeus)
• David Sedley (Cambridge) (on the Pompeii mosaic of the philosophers)
• Riccardo Saccenti (Bologna) (on the impact of the Timaeus on medieval law and Christianity)
